If you're interested in what St. Anne's College is like, you might have checked the college's website already. There's loads of interesting stuff on there, but if you want to hear about our college from the student's perspective, you are better off on our JCR page.
St. Anne's is a great college - not only because we are always having a good time: we are also one of the biggest colleges in Oxford. Thanks to our huge number of students, we enjoy having a gym, a coffee shop that is cheaper and with a better food choice than starbucks, a cosy college bar and one of the biggest college libraries. And the good news doesn't end there: we can choose to stay in college for the full length of our course and enjoy all these facilities less than a minute's walk away from our bedrooms.
Living in St. Anne's also means that you will meet lots of interesting people. We are a very open-minded college with a great variety of students and many internationals (including myself). We would be very happy to welcome you and show you around on one of our student-led college tours. Of course the academic side of Oxford is always present and can be challenging; but the JCR and the college are there to help you with any issue you might have. Our welfare reps, peer supporters and academic reps are always there to help you out. In the run up to exams, plenty of welfare support will be on offer to help you through revision, including welfare teas and care packages. However, since the academic side is important but not everything there is about our college, we have a lot of entz events in our bar and the Danson Room (our common room) that can distract you.
If you want to find out what's going on in St. Anne's at the moment, check out our blogs and calendar or why not follow us on our Facebook Page?. We'd be very happy to see you in St. Anne's soon!
